William Lane Craig’s claim: God is timeless prior to creation, and
temporal subsequent to creation
(1) If God does not know all counterfactuals prior to
creation, then He is not omniscient.
(2) God cannot know tensed counterfactuals prior to
creation (Since God is timeless prior to creation according to Craig).
(3) Therefore, God is not omniscient.
(4) However, God is omniscient, and therefore knows all
counterfactuals prior to creation.
(5) So, God knows tensed counterfactuals prior to
creation. (This conclusion demonstrates God can be timeless and know tensed facts
given Craig’s own presuppositions).
